I am in the same boat except self employed in Canada, from 10 May 2012, I contacted the MP and they contacted CIC and got me a response that I have to be patient that it will take a lot of years since it is not CEC, they said only CEC is fast. If you want to try something try the MP.

what is this MP and the what is the category if employee is a sponsorer

I think your application is under the Federal Skilled Workers program. If you are in Canada, you can contact the Member of Parliament (MP) for your region for help. Have you at least received your application number (file number)?

CEC means, my husband has 6yrs of experience and he is also self employed
yrs means how many yrs...min waiting time is completed right
CEC means Canadian experience class,
self employed in cultural activities or farm management?
MP says to look at india and Bejing where slef employed applicants are taking 79+ months, my personal opinion is 3 years.

I got Biodata and RPRF reequest this morning which was done and sent to CIC. CIC has also asked for my passport biodata info, is this normal?

Hey Congrats Pooky! Seems You are the first July'12 applicant to get PPR. :)

Can you please mention the dates when "you completed meds" and "meds received by CIC"?

Thank you :)

I completed med on Apr 16, results were sent to CIC via emedical on Apr 24.

I assume you are from a visa exempt country. If so, this is a passport request - you are done, buddy.

If that so, then VOs are following the July app pattern to send the PPR (for people who completed medicals).
Pooky applied on July 3, Calgaryboy on July 10th.
Hang on July folks...we are near to touchline :)

Hi There is nothing like CEC federal skilled program.
There is a program which is CEC.
Another is Federal Skilled worker.
Both are different programs.

If your husband filed under CEC, he should have received AOR and probably medicals by now but since this hasn't happen it is more likely FSW, It will take 2-3 years.
Please follow FSW bulletin to get more clear picture of where you stand as you will see people who filed around same time.
