Was wondering, how long after you get your sponsorship approval letter will there be an update in eCAS to show this? My eCAS status still just shows 1 line with "application received" for both sponsor and applicant.

anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.....just keep checking!!!

Thanks KJG, funny thing is that an hour after writing that question my eCAS was updated to decision made and medical results received.

If so, which VO are you going through and when did you do your medicals? Good luck with sponsor approval. Hopefully you will be receiving it in the next few days!

That's a shame. I called the international number from Australia : +1613 944-4000
then dialed 1,2,1,1,2,1,0 and it went through to someone after about 7-10 minutes (Ottawa time)
I bet you will get your UCI number and be told your application is approved.

So now that we are in stage 2, just want to clarify, the wait time at each VO is it from the time they receive the application or is it the time since Mississauga received the application?

it is the time from when the VO received the application......the application is deemed to have been recieved by the VO as of the date of the approval!!!!

Hey, Good News . I just called them and it was issued yesterday. They said they posted it today ;D ;D ;D

I received my daughter's CSQ in the mail yesterday

I just logged onto e-CAS and it now says medical results have been received, so that's good to know. At least someone in Ottawa is looking at our file, even only to match up the medical!

So I went to check ecas today and I'm in the system finally! Yay! But it shows no AOR, so I don't know what is going on. Obviously they have looked at our application though. So I guess that is a good sign.

Definitely a good sign. Took them a bit over a week to approve our application once I was able to log into ecas. So expect something very soon.
