ohliuw- I have heard of people getting them within two weeks so I was hoping to hear something last week... but I didn't. I guess I'll wait for the whole 20 business days and then put in a call and see what info I can get! Let's hope you get something in the mail on Monday instead of having to deal with any more phone calls! And Ill hope to hear something by Friday because that will be my 18th day too! At least we can be grateful that it doesn't delay processing! (I know my VO doesn't care about the CSQ being issued until it's time for an interview/PPR). Next week will be our CSQ week!! I can feel it!! haha

My spouse who lives in Quebec, she just sent today the CSQ application to the MICC today, hope everything goes well, Gods willing. I live in Mexico.

Hi josedavid, the CSQ is supposed to be relatively fast and I`ve heard of people getting them in just a few weeks! They state that they want to get your approval or denial (hopefully not) back to you in 20 business days. Mine is on 15 days! Hopefully will get soemthing this week!

Anyone knows what time to expect the email from CIC. CIC received my application on July 11, 2012 and i has not got anything yet. I am so worried.

I sent my application on July 11th and CIC missisauga received on July 12th. The CIC website says, it's currently processing on application received on July 12.
But I don't find my record when I try to check the status of my application. I have not got anything yet. Really worried. Is anyone waiting like me or all of you have got approval.

You just need to be patient. I'm sure you'll get it one of these days.

Got acknowledgement of receipt on Sept 18th and approval of sponsorship on the 19th!

They really approve those things fast once they actually get around to looking at them, heh.

All right, called them today, told them it's day 19 - they gave me the same BS, we are working on it, too much work blah blah blah. Mentioned the 20 day time frame on their website, they gave me the BS that's only a guideline

Told them I am leaving for few weeks to see wifey and that I need this to be completed before Friday because I wouldn't be able to react if something is missing or they ask something from me. The guy said not to worry, everything will be fine, so I took down his name.

I suggest you call them as well, give them some meeeeeeerdeeeeeeee ...
