so what if you don't have a uci only the receipt number cause it wont work online and I am getting pissed off as I see august apps all ready getting ....

I'm July 9th and have a UCI but no luck as yet with UCI or receipt #. I've tried the last two days with the CIC call centre but no information on their system as yet. I'm assuming the officer may have started (or not) with my app but he would need to fully assess it for completeness before inputting anything on their system.

I am in the same boat - we just have to wait for an AOR via email, or approval via email or snail mail unfortunately!

You could try Application Number. That would be in F000xxxxxx form.

I'm sponsoring my BF who is here on a working holiday visa which has a client id number.... i tried entering that and his date of birth on the automated phone thingy and it said "an error has occurred" does this mean they just haven't processed it yet or his client i.d from his work visa doesn't work for checking PR status? just like everyone else I am trying to be patient waiting for AOR, but thought I should give the phone update a shot anyway. here's to more approvals starting monday

to check sponsorship aproval status, it should be sponsor's uci not applicant's

ah ok, that's what I was thinking, thanks. I don't have a UCI ...so we just have to wait for the email or letter unfortunately :-(

The system is not fast to update. Even though I got an approval email, if I call using my UCI, it does not tell that, but only tells that the application was received. The only proof of approval, is the email or a letter in the mail. The telephone and the eCAS are not up to date usually.
