FYI:

Processing time still @ 86 days but working on apps from May 14.

I think we have all discovered that the 86 day processing period is bogus.

For some people it is accurate. I would just use it as a basic guideline.

On another note, If you want to be negative I would recommend you go hijack your own month's thread- I am avoiding going into May now for that reason!

You may think your incessant posts you are 'making a difference' to the way CIC implement their procedures, however I for one would prefer encouragement and advice over negative attitudes from those like yourself.

Stick to writing letters to your MP - and when you receive something positive out of it (which I highly doubt), then you will have a reason to go on a tirade of posts.

LOL. I guess the difference between us is I like to understand what is actually happening and be treated as fairly as the next person. Though I'm at 97 days without so much of a peep from CIC. Others on this thread have already been approved. I'm happy for them but that doesn't change how unfair things are for those like me who have also done their due diligence and are left with the impression that their application has been used to replace the broken leg on the photocopier in the CIC mailroom. As the saying goes..."evil prevails when good men do nothing". If you are satisfied with the level of service you are getting then thats great. I am not.

Now this post has to be worth a -4 at least.

Hey July applicants!! Sending some positive energy your way!!!!....I applied June 6th 2012, and got AOR July 27th, and approval August 8th...the website was at 96 days i believe when I first applied back in June..and as u can c...i didnt have 2 wait so long...just keep the faith...you guys will get AORS/APPROVALS sooner than you expected!!! ;D..my guess...in the next 2-3 weeks!!!

Hey Jeep Guy, shut up and go complain to your wife. Being a pessimistic redneck isn't going to do anything. Jump into your jeep, light up a Filipino cigarette and go for a long drive. While you're on that drive smokin' the Filo, realize sometimes things take time and you're going to have to wait for the gov't to do their job.

Now keep in mind I have never made any personal comments about anyone. I've just criticized what is obviously worth criticizing. My so called "negative" observations have about as much influence on the process as your positive prayer.
