Dont trust the e-case status.
My e-case is showing RBO,but they are working on my file , on 25-11 my university got verification request and the clerk gave me call today , told me that they are going to courior it on monday.

Congrats SmGrGe & Big O! Finally, some activity at the London VO. I think your status must have changed on Friday as Saturday and Sunday are not working days at the CHC London. Let's hope they get around to the rest of us London folks soon!

Ecas updates can happen on weekends, I can't recall where I read it but am sure of it.
I checked my ecas saturday morning but it was the same as always, they must have changed it later on in the day which is why I missed it.

yes I have my annual income tax return form from bir..i will look for it in my files..
regarding the gsis..is it the letter coming from gsis welcoming me as a member with my gsis ID
#? I also have it..I will look for it in my files too..

I also have a payslip..but I did not collect it monthly lol..
regarding the ITR,GSIS,payslips samples..I tried to submit it on my agency/agent
but they refused to add it on my package as they said it was not written
in the checklist samples.. wrong...it is clearly stated in the document checklist # 12, see on the provided link below, additional supporting documents may include copies of work contracts, copies of pay stubs. so it goes as well that if u are claiming u have gsis, sss or whatever, u should provide evidence to back up these claims...

this is the sad part of having an agency, we think they know a lot when it comes to migration procedure, but in reality, a lot of them are in the dark too, and some are not even updated...a lot of applicants get NER due to their fault to think that we are paying them thousands of hard earned money :
sayang..It could have strengthen and limits the time for background check/ processing though..

but nevertheless, I will look and gather all my files now..to be ready
just in case anything is needed

In addition, I also asked my mother about this..and she told me that I can get
a certificate of civil service from my employers and certificate of remittance
from gsis,pagibig, etc.. yes indeed u can get them although it really is a lot of paper works we may say, but the fruit of our labor will pay it off very sweetly :-*

Does our local vo calls our school for verification?or do they verify through regular mail?
there's a lot of clerks in our universities..

based on experiences by previous successful immigrants, cem makes verification in writing...some reply via fax. interviews are sometimes done via telephone calls. if they did not get in touch w/ u via phone they then sched u for personal interview at the cem.

I am not sure about the status of my application. It merely says "In Process" and the message says "We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 8, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us". The status hasn't changed since semptember. My fingers are crossed!
