WOW...so many new members in the thread. Great Just this morning I was thinking I will float a new thread "promoting" our thread and urging people to join us in this thread and provide their details. Guess I shall still do that. The more the merrier!!

I agree when you talk about the backlog, however when I think that there is no news on September applicants I get worried. Yeah most of us have through BD,but planningtogo has sent by CC and his is yet to be charged. Reached 30th August. Also Ajoy the king has a CC I guess, thats what RKC told me.

We might still make it (mid Sep applicants), but I dont buy the arguement that all Sep applicants are safe for 0631

yes..thats true.. even im waiting for atleast one single update from any of the sept applicants.

You know one thing that i hate with CIC, even after two months from our application received date and when they say that thay have no record of our application, this is something really irritating and annoying. I dont understand why can't they create a file or make a record record of atleast the received applications?

Because I believe they have not yet opened it. I have been trying to reach CIO over the last 3 days on phone, no success. I will try tomorrow too. I simply want to ask whether all September applicants are in Cap or till what date applicants are in the numbers on the website.

I am anxious because we will likely be one of the lasts in the 0631 Cap.

Sorry takemblues, I couldn quite get what u just said. Does this mean that after getting PER from CIO the next step is request fro medicals? Will there not be a 2nd PER or something? Kindly shed some light on this please, I'm confused, thanks in advance

I would think what happens is that....one team opens the envelopes, does a completeness check, updates the CAPs in website. Then the package is forwarded to a finance or accounting team to encash CC/BD. Only after this is done the package is forwarded to the Data Entry team to enter our data on their databas software.

The front end teams (Call Centre and Email agents) have access to this database from where they give out information. Thus there is a variation in what the agents say or write Vs the actual situation.

This I have gathered from many forum friends writing to CIC or calling and getting certain information, and just the next day or couple of days later they experience something entirely different. This is also how many offices dealing with lots of customer information, work. So thats the basis of my statement.

prapp What I meant was Ajoy the king should come out with the first update as he is 1 Sep applicant, he never gave any details if he paid by CC or DD. He is not regular on this thread , you can send him a message to find out?
