Hi markho,

AOR = Acknowledgement of Receipt from the Visa Office.

1) It acknowledges the fact that your file has been received by them.
2) There will be no refund of processing fee hereafter as CIO has given positive review to your file.
3) Also mentioned is the time they take to process files at their office (10 months in case of NDVO).
4) They advise you to contact them if you don't hear from them even after 6 months from the AOR date.
5) They want you to update them of any important changes to your application (like address change, job change & et al).
6) They want you to prepare for the move to Canada.
7) Also included is the receipt of processing fee.

You should get it within a month of PER.

From the spreadsheet

VOs which have issued MR request to MI3 applicants are (in chronological order) :-
1) Manila
2) Bucharest
3) Colombo
4) Paris

(New Delhi please take note. Please claim the 5th position. I want my MR/RPRF/PPR)

Bossie - application reached 15th Sep - CC

His should have been encashed by now or in the next 2 3 days if we go by what you have said of the backlog reducing?

Maybe I'm wrong then...........

GOT MY 2nd AOR LETTER TODAY (24-11-2011), DATED 18-11-2011 FROM NDVO.
It says the average processing time is 10 months at ndvo .
Is it normal?

They have charged a 3131 app of 29 Aug on 21 Nov & sent PER on Nov 23. Looks like any Sep apps have not been charged as yet.

Oh so the gap between CC/BD charged and PER is coming down then. Its almost immediate. Its almost like "this applicant is ready for PER, get his/her CC charged and we send the PER mail.

In that case there is indeed no connection between CC/BD charged and Completeness check, like Farukh has been saying ever since. Thats good to know.
