what you guys are saying is that even if I had sent an application in October for 0631, I would have made it? I doubt that. I dont think it will extend after 15th Sep. what are your thoughts?

Moreover I think the backlog of CAP updates might have come down (no data to prove this....just instinct)!!

There's no way to find out that.... We don't have the requisite data to know the cut-off date for any NOC. It depends on many factors like application intake in that NOC each day, number of complete applications out of those received , number of complete applications that could be successfully charged & et al.


Don't worry about the caps, it's not in your hands . ...thinking about it will only make you anxious. Just pray to the lord & keep a positive outlook. Fingers Xed for you & all Sep/Oct applicants.

You have observed that 3131 have jumped to a lot of applications in one week but CC/BD charging of 3131 applicants have not jumped , 25th August applicant of 3131 have been charged but 1st September applicant of 3131 is still waiting. This means my dear CC/BD charging and receiving PER have no relation with CAP .
CC/BD charging and issuing PER is the responsibility of 2nd team (Reviewing team) which perform steady irrespective of number of applications received.
You are observing number of applications received are not steady, some times number of receiving applications are increased and some times they are decreased because announcing the CAP is not the responsibility of 2nd team (Reviewing team) which works steady, it is the responsibility of 1st team (Completeness checking team) it cant works steady, it has to run with number of receiving applications, it has to check only limited parameters which require 5 minutes/ application. But 2nd team (Reviewing team) has to work deeply which requires time, so it works steady irrespective of receiving the applications. CC/BD charging and issuing PER is on the convenience of the 2nd team .
I posted the following statement for many times read it once again
there two teams are existing
one team is for completenss checks that is related to CAP
The second team is for processing fee and pre eligibilty review
the first team hand over the complete applications to second team.
the second team processes on its own convinience irrespective of first team .
the first team processes and announce the number of complete applications at different intrvals irrespective of second team .

Take for example 1122. Friends whose appl was rcvd by CIO on 8th July and beyond have got back their applications mentioning the reason as CAP REACHED. But the CIC website updated CAP REACHED data only on 22nd Aug. Similarly with 3152 applications.

So in my mind there is no doubt that the website is lagging behind in their updates. They say so themselves in last paragraph, have you noticed? The backlog in my opinion is about 70 days approx. Do you agree?

my dear 1122 and 3152 have excetional cases. The ratio between nurses and pharmacist in our country is 5000:1
same is the case witH 1122 which has many sub occupations. thousands of applications of 1122 have been received by CIO in first week of july , how is it possible for 1st team to check them for completeness check suddenly . And have you any avidence that CIO started working on MI3 at 1st of July . there may be possibility that CIO started work on MI3 in some delay because it was working on MI2

Dear friends ! I am very sad to update that i got my NER email today.My 3rd application was received on 23.08.2011 for FSW NOC 3112. Today i got an email from CIO declaring NER for my application. The reason for NER is as follows :

Hello dear,
I am very sorry you got an Ner.

Ner CAN BE turned into a PER, this a fact that we have witnessed for several applications thus it is possible so don't give up.

Get in touch with CIO and request a reconsideration, send them an email and follow it up with a fax, explain to them that you have been accepted twice based on the JDs that you have provided and that you intend to challenge the officer's decision. Ask them for guidance on the best way to challenge the officer decision or for a reconsideration of your application.


As you know, ER are somewhat subjective (especially when it comes to JD) hence your email/fax will ensure that another officer re-checks your app and maybe turn the Ner into a Per.

381 on 10th Nov (11th, 12th, 13th were holidays).

391 on 15th Nov (which means 10 applications rcvd on 14th alone).

416 on 17th Nov (which means 25 applications in 2 days - 15th Nov and 16th Nov!).

This means average applications rcvd is about 11.25 a day????? And they are still on 31st Aug!!!

Someone please tell me my calculation is WRONG!! I absolutely DO NOT want to believe this!
