PPR received! It went to my wife's (the applicant) account (and not even to Spam folder!)

I'm a bit flabbergasted -- When I started this process in January I was expecting a 12 month process, but it's only been 53 days since the application was received. Now to get yet more photographs and mail in the last paperwork.

Congrats. Wish it goes smoothly all the way for you, and everybody else.

Congrats to Barch88 and Sirbill on getting their PPR! Let's keep the good news rolling and positive outcomes for all!

I am wondering if anyone is waiting for their Sponsor approval still? I applied Jan 25, 2016. ARO1 sent to my husband Feb 11 and asked to link and summit PC and Schedule A by March 20th, Which he summited in right away. But since then no correspondence. When I checked on ECAS login to says in process for sponsor . I am so anxious as to why I still haven't received my sponsor approval. When I called them they are no help. Please help.....Is anyone in the same situation as me?

You need 10 posts to be able to do that. :)

Update!!

Got ppr on Friday, I just sent an entire photocopy of my passport, all pages with a binder clip, they said only pages with stamps or whatever and 2 extra pages but I figure the entire passport copied neatly and organized won't hurt. I also got the PR photos done at Shoppers Drugmart, should have went there the first time when I got the original ones done because they knew exactly what size and stuff. Filled out the Annex A form and sent via Canada post today! It will be there tomorrow and hopefully I'll have my copr by next week, if not the end of the week. Thanks for everyone for the help throughout the process. We decided to send it to my wife in Canada to avoid delay with customs

Hey Guys,
I am a permanent resident and applied for my wife to join me as a PR. CIC sent my file back because in my sponsorship documents, i was missing my Tax Info. I printed mine online and they did not accept so i am waiting now for the original one. I'll resend my file as soon as i get my Assessment from CRA.
My question is, do i need to pay the fees again? and do i need to fill the forms again and get my wife to sign them and send them to me from India? I am a bit confused.
Your help is really appreciated.

Thanks

If they send it back without processing I think they refund you, ya might want to check to see if you're actually refunded it or not with your bank, otherwise I would just keep your receipt and send it with the new application. Did they sent the entire thing back or request your tax documents specifically?

Why CIC do't accept the copied tax return? I submitted copies (printed from my CRA account) and they went through with no problems.

Thank you so much for replying.
They sent the whole package back. The letter that they included with my package do not state that they are going to refund my fee. so i am assuming that it will be fine to include this receipt but at the same time i don't want them to send it back to me another time. So i am thinking of paying the fee again and apply for refund on my previous receipt. How would you do it if you were in my situation?
And do I need to print the IMM forms again and get my wife to sign them and send them to me from India again? or Should I be able to send the same forms that I sent before but just include the document that I missed?

Thanks again for your input.

When i created my CRA login, i had limited access to it as long as i don't enter the code that they send in mail. But i was able to print the notice of assessment 2015 from the CRA online just fine. but i realized after 2 weeks when i got my account activated that the notice of Assessment was not fully visible when i had limited access to it. so it was incomplete notice of assessment that i sent.
Is it okay if i dont wait for 2016 Assessment and print the 2015 online and send the file back?

Thanks

oh yes, now got you. 2016 assessment should be ready in your account if you have already submitted your tax return. Even if you have not submitted 2016 yet, you can do right away as long as you have T4 slip. Assessment would take less than a week if everything in your file is okay. and then you can send the updated one.

If you are in hurry, you can send the 2015 assessment but at least include 2016 T4 slip in your package.

good luck

Thanks for Replying.
Can you answer my original question though? Do i need to pay the fees again? Because right now, i don't have any idea if they have refunded my Fees or not. I tried calling them many times on multiple days but they don't pick up. Please advice.

Thanks
