Thanks! Exactly 3 months from AOR1. Im sending my passport and photos Monday via overnight to them. Hopefully land first weekend of April. I find it weird we always get these emails at random times haha. We got our DM late on a Sunday afternoon and we got this late Friday night. They must work odd hours over there.Survivor27 said:Pretty fast! Congratulations!

I tried to use Application Number + Last Name to link but can't find any record, I am applying for my wife so the Last Name should be my last time, right? I actually tried both but still nothing found. And The applicant details is definitely about my wife I believe.
Tried 5 times and it's locked for 24 hours...anyone have linkage problem?
Thank you so much PRVC...prvc said:Your sponsor has been approved already. Your file won't be transferred unless the sponsor was approved. Sometimes they don't send the SA email.
Wow congratulations hope we will get ours soonsirbill said:PPR received! It went to my wife's (the applicant) account (and not even to Spam folder!)
I'm a bit flabbergasted -- When I started this process in January I was expecting a 12 month process, but it's only been 53 days since the application was received. Now to get yet more photographs and mail in the last paperwork.
Wonderful! It's so quick! So, we can be hopeful also, CIC really decreases overall processing time! Hope so for other visa offices across the world.sirbill said:PPR received! It went to my wife's (the applicant) account (and not even to Spam folder!)

Whoa! Another one! Earlier it was barch88 now it's you! Ottawa VO is really getting much faster, eh! You two must have had a very straightforward case and submitted everything that satisfied the visa officer.sirbill said:PPR received! That's my guess too. Long relationship (8 married, 13 total) plus child (Canadian citizen) plus US citizen applicant plus college degrees and solid careers ('cause we're so old ) makes for a pretty easy determination. We also used the old forms and submitted medical & police reports upfront.Survivor27 said:Whoa! Another one! Earlier it was barch88 now it's you! Ottawa VO is really getting much faster, eh! I think it's definitely the Ottawa VO that's fast. We're old too!! And our application is also straightforward with all certs submitted upfront (except HK Police who send the cert direct to the VO) and we used the old application, but we're with the Hong Kong VO so it will be interesting to see how long it takes. We've been married over 15 years with 2 Canadian kids plus 5 degrees between us and solid careers, but hubbie is a Brit. I think American citizens going through Ottawa are normally the fastest. I hope we'll get ours before we leave for Canada in July!sirbill said:That's my guess too. Hopefully this fast-tracking of the easy ones will free up resources to reduce processing times for the rest.
