dkera- please tell me how hard was the test ? did they ask tricky questions or they were like the online test you took ? if so, which website did you use ?

My exam is tomorrow, and Ill let you know how it goes. But to be honest all the website have the same questions (some are just asked differently but same answers). I just read the book twice, and going back and forth with some details.

I was extremely happy and excited with the initial speed to being in process.

Now.......Nothing. Radio silence. In process since Jan 24th....

Wondering what the delay could be. Initially I was not going to renew my pr card but now thinking I should get the application sent in as a safe bet to ensure that I can travel.

I think you may have the same Officer reviewing my sisters application. Hers has been In Process since early Feb too, and I am already taking my exams. I asked her to call in CIC, but they gave her the generic same question "Every application is taken individually... so you cannot actually compare". in which am half hearted, because I understand the security checks they are doing for everyone.

But anyways, we are not planning on any trips soon, so I guess it doesnt really matter whether we get it earlier or later (hopefully, not after June).

thanks YumiMedina - May of them ask the same questions but some websites are harder than the others, and some questions are probably pulled from all corners of the book so was worried. My test is end of next week.

I called CIC yesterday.

The lady told me that there is no indication in the system that my FP results have been received.
I asked here about her suggestions on what should I do?
She went for couple of minutes and came back telling me that the system shows that my criminal check is passed as of Mar 17th but she wasn't sure if this implies that FP results have been received!

Searching CIC site. I think that passing the criminal check means that FP result has been received.

I should've utilized the opportunity and asked her about my test invitation!

Depending on the MP and their staff, no harm in trying specially when u wanna inquire something specific.
They can easily ask CIC and let you know.

Hi,

I am also planning to apply in May, however I need clarification to make regarding my first child living with my ex in my first country. My child never landed as PR because she was included as non-accompanying. Please advise if I need to include his details (name of school and letter from school) in my citizenship applications form under section 6(I) with my other kids for future reference.
