Yeah because AOR2 is when the visa office the file has been transferred after you recieve SA and AOR notifies you that they received the application. I got my SA and AOR a few weeks ago and have not received AOR2... Please correct me if I am wrong.

Nah. Length of time for AOR2 and even whether or not you get it depends on the VO. I didn't get AOR2, but my pr got 3 lines like a week after I got SA. That was a month ago.

Exactly what ayrazar said. Once you get SA you are best to compare your progress and timelines with people at the same VO as you, as each VO is different in terms of what happens and when. Definitely keep updating our January family here on your progress though.

I am happy to report that this morning I received my official SA by email after being confirmed on the phone yesterday! To all those still waiting keep the faith, yours is coming soon!

From what I see on the forum u are right its different for every visa office and some don't even send the aor2

Hi guys,
I finally got my SA today by email.I am so happy
But I have a question and I was hoping that someone could help me out.
My husband didn't do an upfront medical and it says on the letter that I got from CIC that he has to do an Upfront Medical if he hasn't already done so. So,does that mean that he can do the upfront or does he have to wait for the request form from CIC? And do we have to send a case enquiry after the medical or the Panel Physician automatically transfer the result to VO?

I'm so sorry if that was a stupid question. My brain is not working right now

Thanks so much in advance for anyone who has answers

Hi Guys,

Im an Australian being sponsored by my Canadian Common law spouse.

Put in my PR application into the mail on 27th of January and the Postal tracking showed it was signed for on January 29th 2016.

I still haven't heard anything from the Visa office and Im getting a bit worried. Should I be? When should I be trying to contact them to make sure they havent lost/refused my application?

I applied as an outland applicant. I was told it was much faster for us but we both live together in Canada already (I'm here on a working holiday visa).

Should be coming in soon. Looks like the average AOR time on the spreadsheets is about 40 days. Mine took 41. So you'll probably get something in the mail later this week or the next.

I sent in my fingerprints to the FBI November 24. I sent my passport to be renewed February 19. I got my passport yesterday. Wish the FBI was as quick as the passport people! Anybody from the USA still waiting on their police report? I sent in my packet to Immigration with a letter stating the police report was applied for but not yet received. It's been 15 weeks.

I think I received my police report about 3 weeks ago, for a total wait time of about 16 weeks. So, if you're on a similar timeline then you should be receiving yours very soon!

How are you going to package up your report to send to the CIC? We're now waiting for SA before we send it, but haven't really thought out how to address the police report to our application.
