new updated processing time for sponsor is 57 days. ours is at 59 days so I gave CIC a call to check the status and was confirmed that the SA was sent out in the mail yesterday and I should receive it by next week. file will be transferred to VO! so relieved to find out.

When i asked why i didnt get AOR, the person i spoke with said its normal. Ecas hasnt updated yet maybe by tomorrow or next week. Good luck!

Sorry to hear you are still waiting too. Please keep me posted when you hear anything. The waiting is brutal, I keep trying to come up with reasons for the delay but none come to mind. My only concern about the sponsor approval was the fact I am unemployed but several other unemployed January applicants were approved very quickly. I provided plenty of proof of how we will support ourselves so shouldn't be an issue. Otherwise I thought this part would be very straightforward. Like you said there is still today to hear something so hopefully it's a happy Friday for us both!

Both our applications were received the same time. If you dont hear anything over the weekend, maybe give them a call on monday to find out. I find its easier to call them just after they start at 8am.
