Hello all. Does anyone know if you can be denied an ETA because you have an application in process? Wanting to be home for Christmas with my Mexican husband and we are applying for the ETA on Dec 1st so I am just curious if we can be denied because we have an app in process. Thanks!

What I wrote may have sounded confusing. As of right now husband and I are waiting for his passport request from the embassy. If we were to get the passport request from the embassy before our travels does he have to send it in immediately? Or can we travel to Canada and send it from Canada...

I have another question if you don't mind helping! On the CIC website it states that Canadian Perm Residents cannot apply for an ETA. Is having an application in process considered that? Thanks!

I am doing the same. We have the following 1) letter from employer 2) apartment lease 3) letter from my family member stating we will be staying with them during our stay 4) will be purchasing medical insurance as well 5) Return ticket back to Mexico
