JANUARY 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

To all those who received their AORs, would you mind telling me what exactly is written on that letter? I never received my AOR but have access to Ecas as I provided a UCI on my application and used that UCI to access Ecas. im thinking maybe because I already have a valid UCI hence they never bothered sending me a letter.

my Ecas says on the sponsor side :

1.We received your application to sponsor xxxxxxx on January 5, 2016.
2.We started processing your application on February 17, 2016.

PR side:

1.We received xxxxxxxx application for permanent residence on January 5, 2016.
2.Medical results have been received.

and for those who gained access to their Ecas, does your's say anything different from above?

Just registered with this forum. This place is great. So good there's such a large support network out there.

We posted our package January 15th 2016 and it was received January 19th. Now comes the waiting!

I just checked and I have access to ECAS! I got my AOR on Monday so took 3 days to get access. One more step done :)

Mine looks the same except under sponsor it also says:

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 22, 2016.

I see. yeah I don't seem to have that line. I hope its not a big problem not having to receive and official AOR though. :(

I don't think it should be a big deal. The AOR only did 2 things for me - it confirmed the date they received my application (which ECAS already shows you) and gave me my UCI so I could log into ECAS (which you already have). If you don't receive your SA letter by email or mail I would probably contact them then to see if there is a problem with them sending you correspondence but for now I wouldn't worry. I have read on other threads that people sometimes don't get an AOR. Good luck to you too!
 
Got our AOR yesterday! So nice to see something! :) :) :)

I am sponsor, I sent my application and haven't got AOR 1 yet.

My home address going to change, so I was wondering if i will need to update that right away ?

or should I wait until I get AOR 1 ?

GOOD NEWS.

I've sent my application to CIC on Jan 11th and they had received it on Jan 13th and i just got an email today with a file number and a message stating:

" Dear XXXX,
This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/01/13 on behalf of the following member(s):
XXXX "

Weird is that i tried to check the application status with the file number they have provided using my name and my wife's name with No Result.

Good Luck for all of you who have not yet received their AOR

Wait a few days. I recirved my AOR on Feb 23rd and I was finally able to check my status online today! So most likely tomorrow or Monday you will be able to access your information online! :D

Hey Guys, i just checked out the 2016 Spreadsheet and there's only 10 entries for January.
I've added the link to my signature, if you guys want to add your info to the spreadsheet!

Also, I saw Username Bak, you're applying from Lima? So are we!! Maybe we can exchange notes :)
 
I was also able to log in to ecas today. Three lines on sponsor side and two on PR side
 
Ok guys: I don't belong here any more as our application was received on Dec 31st 2015 (and not on January 4th as I had thought first), but I'm excited to announce that we already got the sponsorship approval today!!! ;D (AOR: 2/19/2016)
So better get ready for that! Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you :)
