Ok guys: I don't belong here any more as our application was received on Dec 31st 2015 (and not on January 4th as I had thought first), but I'm excited to announce that we already got the sponsorship approval today!!! ;D (AOR: 2/19/2016)
So better get ready for that! Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you

Amazing, congrats! ! So you recieved your SA approximately a week after AOR! So I could possibly be getting mine next week as I received my AOR on the 25th of Feb...fingers crossed I get the approval! I have nothing to be worried about but there is always that doubt and also I am hoping they do not request any further documents. Here's to hoping next week is a great week!

Our application was sent on 1/5/2016. Patiently waiting for SA. Also haven't received my FBI clearance, but plan to send it right away. Hoping to see it within the next 2-3 weeks. Also, there's a possibility my medical will expire. Is it a hassle to have to do it over again.? Can the information be sent electronically if they do expire?

Thanks!! My husband (Canadian by birth, the sponsor) got it by email. You should get it all soon, keeping my fingers crossed!

To be honest I had been slightly worried as my husband is curently living with me in Germany and we did not really have "official" proof of his intend to return to Canada (i.e. job offer, mortgage, etc), only a letter from his Mom stating we can live there in our first months in Canada and a statement from him that of course he's planning to come home to Canada with me, once I get the PR ;-)

SO relieved now!!!

I'm in pretty much the same boat with the "intent to return" and being a Canadian living in Germany - glad it worked!! There's hope!

Guys! I have great news! I just got my SA!!! I recieved my AOR on Feb 23rd and SA on Feb 26th!!!
