My application has reached CIC on 12 January and I do not have the AOR or UCI. We will keep in touch.'please keep updating

I sent my application on January 8th and I have not received 1 email from
them yet.

Thanks Drkdd & countrygal for your reply. It seems our case is similar as our submittal time is somehow close. Just so you know, I've been informed by other fellows that there is no time frame for receiving AOR as in many cases AOR is never received and the first word people hear from CIC is SA (Sponsor Approved). So the AOR could be within 30-60 days or never. So let's keep in touch and cross fingers ;-)

So does it mean that we will get the SA directly ??? So how much time are they expecting for receiving the SA ?? hope it faster now. Yeah we will keep in touch as we have very close timelines. Let us all pray together. By the way which country are you applying from ??

As i understand, We may get an AOR (Probably within 1 month) or we get the SA directly. The MAX time frame for both is 60 days as indicated on CIC website. But you never know. Nothing guaranteed. We are just trying to get the information from previous applications.

I submitted the application from Calgary Alberta to Mississauga office and my wife currently live in Egypt.

We're about half way through our AOR's in December. Check out our spreadsheet. When our people at the bottom start turning blue you guys are getting AOR soon!

our representative just informed us that he STILL hasn't droppe off our application at CIC. So looks like we are FEB 2016 now.
Anyone know if there is a forum for that? I couldn't find it

My wife and I submitted our outland application on the 4th of January and it came back today on us. My wife is living with me here in Canada as a visitor and we submitted the form listing her mailing address as in Canada. Today we received the application back with a statement highlighted saying:

"A correction to the mailing address specified on the Generic Application Form to Canada (IMM0008) to reflect the mailing address of the Principal Applicant; or, if the Principal Applicant wishes to have correspondence mailed to the address specified, a complete and signed Use of a Representative form (IMM5476) is required for the authorization of release of documents and information to the individual residing at this address"

Has anyone had a similar experience? How was it resolved?

just a quick question for you guys. I sent the document out on Jan 23 to Mississauga. They received the parcel on Feb. 1. Should i sign up to Jan 2016 spreadsheet or feb 2016 spreadsheet?

I would say February, as thats will probably be marked in the ECAS, that they received application in February.
