About time indeed. Thanks Zarilenth. Never thought I'd be so tense opening that email attachment :o

I need help from those who have set up the timeline spreadsheets for previews months. I started a new threat for March outland applicants. If you know how to make a timeline spreadsheet, please set it up for us and put the link in the threat called "MARCH 2014 OUTLAND APPLICANTS". Thanks.

hello guys can u help us,,, after we receive our CSQ what is next? should my hubby send it to the VO or he can scanned and send it by email? or we send it by fax to Manila Visa Office?

As far as I could tell, we should only send the CSQ to the VO if it is requested. If it is the case, we should send the original copy marked with “3-IMMIGRATION- CANADA”. We had the same doubts, and after going back and forth with the idea, that is what we concluded. We also believe there are some VO that are more likely to request than others.
Again, this is our opinion based on the experience of others.

As far as I know, they are supposed to get the CSQ directly from MICC, but I've heard reports in the past that sometimes they don't get it and then you have to send them a copy yourself.

I didnt receive my CSQ yet but from my understanding, your hubby should have received instructions along with the CSQ. If in doubt, maybe he should call MICC at 1-877-864-9191 or the CIC call center 1-888-242-2100.

What is the MICC?

Jolyn I found this information on the MICC website:

If your undertaking application is accepted, a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ - Québec Selection Certificate) will be issued to the person you are sponsoring. The MICC’s decision will be transmitted directly to the Canadian Visa Office for the sponsored person’s country. The person you are sponsoring will then submit his or her application for permanent residence.

You only have to send it to the VO if they didn't get the one from MICC for some reason. Sometimes they get lost somehow.
