I just called them. The rep gave me a File # but said there is no Client # yet generated.

I thought I would be more excited to get AOR. But now I am left feeling confused. LOL!

Ama - I think we got these emails just because we called and asked for an update.. because I just got mine too!! And I have no client # on mine either.
It's a bit of good news anyway!

I think so too. The weird thing is when she gave me my file # she said it started with an X. So XF123456789. I hope that doesn't mean anything. Didn't you get a client ID#...or was it just the F123456789 one???

When I called yesterday my file number didn't even have a letter at the beginning! It was just numbers.. I haven't called today since I got my AOR

I sent my application to sponsor my husband on January 29, 2014; delivered on February 3rd. I received an email that acknowledged my submission on February 26th. And today, I received an email that I am eligible to sponsor and that my file has been sent to my husband's Visa office in Ghana. So Here is my Timeline:

February 3, 2014: Application Delivered at Missisauga
February 26, 2014: First stage approval and application sent to Visa Office (Ghana)

The first email is just an acknowledgement. I received an email earlier this week and it informed me that mu application was received on February 3rd and that they would contact me once completed.

Then this morning, I received another email with a letter attached to it. The letter said that I have been determined eligible to sponsor and that my file has been sent to my hubby's visa office. I hope this clarifies it.

File number/application number starts with FXXXXXXXXX is the same...client id is different

Gosh I just got back from work, saw all those AORs ans SAs sent today and I still got nothing in my inbox.
I feel jealous and lonely :'(
Maybe I should call them... are they working on saturdays? I suspect its gonna be slower next week due to springbreak.
