hi oasisfairy, no, i haven't got any news since receiving AR2 email from hongkong office, and also found out there are no news updated from threads related to applications processed in hongkong office...so curious what is going on? or maybe those applicants get their application progressed...

yes, this is positive, you won't have your UCI of pr application until you VO send you an email of AOR. instead, you can also use your file application no(FXXXXXXXXX) with your details to log in ecas

I also got my sponsorship decision by a letter instead of an email although I did fill in email address in the sponsorship form and also got sponsorship AOR by email. From my experience, the decision of your sponsorship application should be approved. My ecas status said CIC sent us a letter...

File number/application number starts with FXXXXXXXXX is the same...client id is different

compared to application in the middle of last year, it seems slower i tried to get my life back to normal by paying more attention on my work instead of always checking my ECAS status and emails in order to release a bit of this waiting frustration. anyway, i think we will all be fine and get...

My sponsor's status on ECAS also says CIC sent us a letter on Feb 3, and guess what we still haven't received the letter yet. However, I received an email from the visa office on Feb 19 said that they received my application so I suppose my spouse's sponsorship is approved.

It should be a good sign. My sponsor got the SA notice by regular mail instead of email so you should probably be getting the letter soon. Good Luck :)
