Gosh I just got back from work, saw all those AORs ans SAs sent today and I still got nothing in my inbox.
I feel jealous and lonely :'(
Maybe I should call them... are they working on saturdays? I suspect its gonna be slower next week due to springbreak.

Awww, dw you will get yours soon too if we have. It feels good but you know what the real journey begins after SA...btw my file was also received the same day as yours...so maybe you should call them...try calling tomorrow...worst that could happen is they wont pick up...

They received January 31 according to tracking but I saw this week that the information from Canada Post is not reliable. Maybe they received later. Gumper is also Jan 31 and no news from him either. I keep the faith.

Now the updated processing time for step one is 29 days so it will be 29 days tomorrow for you, so maybe wait until monday and then if you hear nothing then try calling them...because someone on this post or another had same issue they were the same date as me and they were told that the will look into it now...so maybe calling might get them to work faster on your file...

I know it is hard...all this waiting kinda sucks just wish they would tell us individually how long it will take them to process our case specifically..then I think it wouldnt be so bad....but then again thats really hard to do when you have 1000s n 1000s of applications to go through... but good luck with your AOR and SA...the SA comes 2 days after the AOR...and thats the case with most of the people...so hope you hear something from them by Monday and you dunt have to call and wait in cue for hours

I would definitely call them Monday. They wouldn't even look at my file until I passed the processing date shown on their website. But they were quick to put it into action. Spoke to them yesterday and got AOR today. Best of luck, Edgehead78!

ETA: And the crazy thing is that it says 29 days for SA yet we are only get AOR in that time frame.

I called the immigration people the girl said that the file was sent to NDVO on 19 feb 2014 . my ecas status shows application and medicals recieved ... What will be the next step and how long it gonna take . I am 14 weeks pregnant ... Cant wait for my husband :'(

Hi Lovu71,
I just checked the processing time for New Delhi and the CIC website says 12 months. All you can do from now on is to wait for the VO to get in touch with your husband requesting for interview or if you're lucky, passport.
Usually the VO is supposed to send an AOR of your spouse application but I read on other threads that some VOs, like Manila, never send AORs.
Sadly, I don't think your husband will be in Canada for the birth of your baby.

BTW Edgehead, did you get your AOR via email? According to many posts on this site seems the SA comes fairly soon after the AOR....then it's over to the black hole of the Manila VO....ok let's stay positive "over to the kind attention of our wonderful countrymen abroad" LOL!

I guess you will be the next in the line Gumper. Yes I got it by email this morning. Im expecting to have SA within the next week, I really feel relieved that at least I got something.
Hope yours come by the end of the day.
Since we are the last ones, I wonder what happened to those applicants without update on the spreadsheet.
