No. I sent it priority courier through Canada Post. The Canada Post official ASSURED me that it was not a courier service so I mailed it to the P.O. Box. I sure hope everything works out okay.

I also mailed it at the P.O. Box and got confirmation of delivery, even a name and signature. I wish yours made it through.

Wow... since Feb 3rd and it hasn't arrived. Mine hasn't arrived yet.

Update: I called the CIC call centre(Tel: 1-888-242-2100) and was told I am approved as sponsor and application sent to Dakar, Senegal. So SA = Feb 12th. Woot!!! Now the waiting begins.

I called CIC today and the guy checked into my account then put me on hold for a while. When he came back he said he doesn't know why my application hasn't been updated and that he would send them an email to find out and update me via email about what was happening. He said it doesn't look like there is any problem, just that they are behind for some reason.

He said they are behind 3 days...however by my count its more like 13 days behind!

Ok, at least there is an opportunity to find out what's going on. I know the agents can send them emails, so this should hopefully jolt(lol) the officer into action.
Our lawyer received the letter(snail mail) with sponsor approval decision today but decision made Feb 12th and file transfer same day. Someone in the Dakar thread just got "decision made". They went in process after 1 year and and decision made 3 months later. That is pretty good considering processing time is 23 months. But that 1 year wait suckkkkkkkssssss!!! :

Well that was useless. I called and they said they are working on apps from Jan 10th, 2014. I told her that that was what it said last week. She checked via my receipt # and there is nothing. For anyone else that has called...how did they check on the status of your app? Can they pull it up by name???? I just want to make sure they have received it as Canada Post could not give 100% confirmation as it was sent to P.O. and was not scanned in. GRRRRRRRR.

I don't yet have a client ID#. I haven't even received AOR. When I called I mentioned I wanted to look into the status of my application. She asked for my receipt # which I gave and she said that there was nothing on file. I asked if she could search via last name and she said no. She said they are running behind and are currently processing apps from January 10th (which I know from seeing the spreadsheet they are beyond at this point). I guess I will call back after the 34 days. Sigh.
