Ok, at least there is an opportunity to find out what's going on. I know the agents can send them emails, so this should hopefully jolt(lol) the officer into action.
Our lawyer received the letter(snail mail) with sponsor approval decision today but decision made Feb 12th and file transfer same day. Someone in the Dakar thread just got "decision made". They went in process after 1 year and and decision made 3 months later. That is pretty good considering processing time is 23 months. But that 1 year wait suckkkkkkkssssss!!! :

He said they are behind 3 days...however by my count its more like 13 days behind!
When I called, they asked for my client ID #, and told me the decision. Just call again, this time just say you want to check on the status of your sponsorship application. This way, Many of the agents are bilingual, but english(or french) may not be their native language, so easy to get the terms mixed up.

Well that was useless. I called and they said they are working on apps from Jan 10th, 2014. I told her that that was what it said last week. She checked via my receipt # and there is nothing. For anyone else that has called...how did they check on the status of your app? Can they pull it up by name???? I just want to make sure they have received it as Canada Post could not give 100% confirmation as it was sent to P.O. and was not scanned in. GRRRRRRRR.
