I put you in as Stage 1 approval Feb 19th. We don't have a spot for file transfer, just Stage 2 AOR. If Cairo emails you to tell you they got the file, then we can add that date. (Stage 2 AOR isn't common from what I understand.)

Thanks alot, we are on AOR visa office

aAHHH..He only pay the sponsorship and the application He thought that Its better to wait from them before He will pay the RPRF but I heard lots of feedbacks here that Its better to pay it soon as possible . Thank you sooo much for your response! It really the best relief!
About paying the RPRF - if you do it now, it will save you time at the end. So your husband can pay online, and then send a copy of the receipt (the one he gets by email) both to CIC Mississauga, and to Manila as well ( to both, because Manila can not see that you have paid to Mississauga, so you need to inform them). Like this, they will add the information to your file already, even if they haven't started, and when they open your file, they won't have to delay anything because the full payment will be there.

Send the document through a case-specific enquiry to Manila ( make sure you quote your UCI etc, and explain the situation), here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/manila.asp

and send it to Mississauga as well, by email here CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca and in the subject, you have to write "Payment of RPRF"
Good luck,
Sweden

that makes you extra special! :-) you'll hear soon, don't worry... and 2 more applicants are still waiting to hear from CIC as well, so you're not alone - and soon you'll be blue, and off to stage 2!

goldenkagi and I are still white! No AOR yet! At least you're luckier than us :P

Even goldenkagi is still doing better than I am...even with no AOR, at least her husband is able to check their status on Ecas, and they found out that the CIC sent them a letter a few days ago (most likely sponsorship approval). As for myself, no AOR, and no ability to log in to Ecas...nothing...totally in the dark =/

Got a couple questions hereee, okay so first off, Ecas finally decided to update itself. Even though I already knew I got SA feb 19 now it finally says decision made and "we have sent you a letter feb 19 .." (letter.. Email..lol) but now my permanent resident application part (which still says application received) says Medicals have been received. So my question is, does this mean VIENNA has received my Medicals and are assessing my application or does it mean that cic Mississauga received and assessed them. Who assesses the Medicals? And also, when u go to the page that "explains" the steps, it says under decision made, tht medicals is a part of that? So confused. I'm assuming my application hasn't even hit Vienna yet but who knows. Thanks guys

It's a good question! :-) and a bit of a blurry answer. With the old system, the results were sent to the VO and waited there for your file to arrive.
Now - you have done your medicals after December, so it's electronic, and from what I understand, now all doctors send the results to Ottawa electronically, and from there, it goes to the VO ( the results only, not the actual tests). So assessment is done before it arrives at the VO. It means that now your medicals have been matched to your file, but if you need more medicals, I believe you will only know when Vienna opens your file. I think it's too early for Vienna to assess your file, given the fact that you only got SA 3 days ago! :-)

I was about to ask the same question. I dunno if my hubby's medical was done electronically even though it was done in december. We still had to fill out the Appendix C form. Also, the permanent res section doesn't say anything except application received. I have decision made for sponsorship. Should I be worried that medicals has not been received?

If you click on "Application Received" it might open up a new link. That's where mine says Medicals Recieved.

I did. I didn't have any additional information underneath.

Don't worry about it. Some people never got the "medicals have been received" line on ecas and everything was still OK! ecas is not very reliable... if it says "medicals have been received", it means that they are matched with your file, but if it doesn't say anything... it doesn't mean anything! :-) most likely it's there, and medicals ( first time ones, sent with the application) are very very rarely a problem, so no need to worry about it.

Hi hi hi! My husband checked his Ecas today and we have Decision Made for Stage 1! Same as Lkrammy, ours says that a letter was sent Feb 18. My husband clicked "my page" (dunno what that means though, i've never been inside Ecas myself) and it says Medical results have been received. Yay?

I think this was missed on the spreadsheet.
