I suspect that the date on the website is generally a week or two behind the actual dates they are working on, since January 10th & 11th were being opened back when it first said January 3rd (nearly 2 weeks ago)... I imagine they must check the PO Box once a week so when they haul everything over to the office, its a mishmash of the entire week, and they just dive in in no particular order. Or... maybe each day they hand a case officer 10 new files, regardless of wether they're done with their earlier files, and then, like getting in the slow checkout line at the grocery store, your application falls further and further behind while anyone lucky enough to get in the express lane is processed that day. ha
