everyone is shocked and angry with CIC because of processing time update and no approval in last 2 weeksGemini1 said:Wow, it's been quiet here! No one has any news I suppose? I definitely don't...still...!!!
Happy weekend everyone!
i think that data should go in a spreadsheet for each specific VO....there's a New Delhi thread and they have their own spreadsheet with all this info....no offense but what's the point to compare someone from a fast vo with someone from a slow vo....the fast one will probably get it in 100 days while the slow one maybe in 500 days...it will just cause heartache without really being our fault...amira_mais said:Amanda, can I make a suggestion for the spreadsheet ... can you add a column showing no. of days from sponsorship approval to PPR? And also a column showing no. of days from PPR to visa issuance? It would be interesting to track those trends as well.
Hoping some of us have good news to report this week.
yeah we were all so happy and excited seeing how fast the december people advance and now?!?! ??? but hope it was just the new year rush in receiving files and after Jan 3rd the flow was less so they will recover the lost days have a nice weekend!!alf+jlh said:I'm just shocked that there have been NO updates at all... No AORs, nothing.
I was saying last weekend that this past week was going to be good and we haven't heard much, so hopefully next week my predictions finally come true!
Happy weekend to everyone as well!
The spreadsheet already captures this data because it's set up to track progress from the date of application until visa issuance, and all the stages in between (AOR, sponsorship approval, PPR). I thought it would be easier if we could see at a glance the time elapsed between stages as expressed by a number, rather than having to do the math in my head based on the date columns.missmini said:i think that data should go in a spreadsheet for each specific VO....there's a New Delhi thread and they have their own spreadsheet with all this info....no offense but what's the point to compare someone from a fast vo with someone from a slow vo....the fast one will probably get it in 100 days while the slow one maybe in 500 days...it will just cause heartache without really being our fault...
oooops sorry i didn't pay attention to all those columns all i look and care now is the number of days since we submitted, and how closer we r all getting to their timeframe ;Damira_mais said:The spreadsheet already captures this data because it's set up to track progress from the date of application until visa issuance, and all the stages in between (AOR, sponsorship approval, PPR). You're right to say that comparing across visa offices doesn't give the "nicest" picture; however the spreadsheet already makes this comparison by tracking all the way up to final approval, rather than stopping at sponsorship approval... and I'm glad it does because even after my file is transferred to my visa office, I'll continue to keep an eye on the January thread and spreadsheet -- I feel we're a community of sorts so I'll be interested to see how other Jan applicants are progressing once our files are dispersed to our respective visa offices...
Yeah ... I hope we see some action this weekGemini1 said:It'sssssssssssss Monday again Here's hoping to a productive and successful week
Hi alf+jlhalf+jlh said:I don't mind making those changes... We can just trust that everyone knows there are different processi times for different VO's.
Give me a bit though and I'll update it ;D

Application received: 11 Jan 2012
Application type: outside

(My husband is sponsoring me for PR.)
