few days, all paid. As long as it's paid vacation, it should be counted towards experiences.

I would check that, when my friend applied for CEC last year he had to make sure that he subtracted vacation days from his one year of experience.

I took 3 weeks of vacation. It will be counted as 2 weeks right ?

My knowledge is that it would count all paid vacation days as work days, so 3 weeks for you (if they are all paid). If unpaid, then it won't get counted and therefore needed to be subtracted.

But since @doubleym doubts, I shall make sure about it.

on the cic websit it says work at least 30 hours a week for 12 months (which is 1560 hours) counts as 1 year full time. So my question is does the 1 year full time counts based on hours or days? If I work 40 hours a week for 10 months, does it count as a year full time?

Thank you for any input!

No, you have to work exactly for 12 months (or 52 weeks) with the minimum of 30 hrs per week

I believe in the EE forms it only requests months? So that's not where my concern is.

Experiences only counts up to lock-in date, which is the date where electronic file of EOI is submitted to CIC server.

I am worrying when the officer review the actual applications (after ITA issues) and finds a few days short of 52 weeks because of the vacation days, that's bad.

That's why leaving 1-2 weeks after completing 1 year of work is always a good move.

CIC counts 30 hrs per week. If any week during the work period is less than 30 hrs, it counts the actual hours. otherwise it counts 30.

In EE , what will be the lockin date? When the draw was made or app was submitted?
