Hello My Inlanders friends,
Love_Younge how are you and thanks for creating this thread which is so helpful to many.
Theresa_Lynn so happy for you too we both are in the same boat & this time the tide is our side.

Here is my story Chronicles,

I got total 3 brown envelops dates 6th April 2011, (1) Open work permit until April 2013 (2) Sponsorship approval letter (3) AIP which says "I still need to get police clearance certificate from my embassy (Country of origin) in Toronto.

Though it says on e-cas "Decision has made" & "Medical has been received" doesn't mean P.R. Yet.

Any suggestions & ideas my dear friends?!

My e-cas says:

We received your application for permanent residence on Apr 20, 2009.

We started processing your application on May 4, 2009.

We transferred your application to the Scarborough office on October 29, 2009. The Scarborough office may contact you.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

I'm still trying to get the police clearence from Mexico. I also got a letter requesting 2 recent immigration size pictures, update my application and the $490 fee.

I think after that the landing interview will come.

We had a great big party on the weekend. It was great. My friends decorated the apartment with balloons representing the colors from my countries, Mexico, Costa Rica and now Canada. It was a blast.

HEY Y'ALL
I just wanted to say thank you for all the support one more time.
I just had my landing interview one hour ago and it went fine.
I was pretty nervous actually but it ended up being fine:D

they basically asked:
_ is all the information in the form right?
_ have you been asked to leave canada ?
_ have you had problem with the police in canada or in your country?

Then I signed the paper and BANG... landed.

they said it'd take 6-8 weeks for the PR card to arrive.(of course)

But anyways. I guess Im landed:D
thank you guys so much for everything.
I couldn've done without you all.

Cheers

Hi there
my E-cas changue to decision made 2 weeks a go I called cic center to ask if they did sent any letter and said yes
on April 27..I didn't receive nothing yet, this waiting in the last days are crazy and I know is the happy end but still stress even the agent on the phone told me my letter is about my app was transfered to cic Edmonton and they will phone me with my landing date...being 18 months Inland aplication have differents points of view from everybody
I can't imagine people being apart for longer months and years to see their spouses,partner/
I am only worry because the letter don't come yet and they said normal time is 3-6 weeks ???can't believe it is only vegreville is 80km away from Edmonton also they told me if for some reason the letter don't came have to report to cic and they will process the letter again but no inmediatly oh no!!!they said 3 weeks to re-send the letter..another thing my OWP expire at may 31 and she said I should apply for extension of work permit because there is a risk if my app for landing are just one day after my OWP has expired they will close my file forever...I don't know if this agent women was just bitching at me..because sound like she enjoyed told me about posible obstacles and problems
well the cic-agent who I spoke 4 days before was absolutly well helped very clear and good manners and I appreciate that in people specially when we are all emotional because this longer process like I said before,I am happy I apply inland because I never have to sleep apart from him,I am co-director of his company and that help our economy to grow up and able to buy a house the last december..now we are starting to packing for our romantic getway i ;D
