Yes, We considered to move to another city.. My husband job has another location in Whinnipeg and I heard that Whinnipeg is a local CIC fast.,, but We are still thinking and taking about that... well the Calgary CIC office is discourage too, I went a couple times, and they said processing times is 36 months, and looks-like your file is processing after the timeline they tell you.. Its just unfair, somebody should do something honestly, I heard the others local offices and they just super fast.. I heard from 2 people who have file in Local CIC calgary they waited, 4 years and half to get PR... its just unfair!!! and its increasing times....

Nanaimo, Oshawa, Hamilton and even Etobicoke being the magical ones, Fernandita...
These other local offices (mine included) are really busy, it's not like they're there with their arms crossed doing nothing...
We are the ones who should move to those locations if we want quick service, but that's my 2 cents of course...

What's your local CIC? Ohh I have not idea about those ones, but I saw Nanaimo is look like fast, I just wondering if theres anyone in the forum who has the same situation than me, but has a timeline better lets say on january or february 2011 and I want to know if they keep his word to review your file or they just doing nothing and leave them with the rest....

Mine was Scarborough (here in Ontario serving Toronto)... I landed last month.
Since you received a letter from your local office, what it says there is what it is. It's not like an agent over the phone told you that.
I'd say you will hear from them just like they wrote to you, in February... hopefully early February.
It's complicated when the application has been transfered to the local office for further review, I imagine (mine wasn't transfered).

Hey arjun, Justina and suzanne are the people who helped me and suggested to submit additional evidences to the local office
