My tourist visa is in my passport no they didn’t punch a hole in it, they took the passport but that’s it.
Think logically. The reason you would apply for PR is so that you would't have to get a visa to live and work in Canada. SO, now that you have PR why would a visa be relevant? Do you need visa to work in your home country? You don't need a visa if you're a PR.

what does the Eligibility Passed email look like when AIP received?

I have GCKEY setup:
I received the following...

You have a new message in your account for application:

Then GCKEY said:

Eligibility passed and I had a downloadable file.

Did you have your bgc mailed to you or straight to them? mine was mailed to them as per the instructions but it's still not been attached and its past the cut off now. I'm freaking out. they dont know if they've received them but won't let me take new fingerprints.
I got my COPR today at interview. Was so quick I was in shock she told me I’d need new SIN etc. But I wanted to know they didn’t explain about my tourist visa does it get cancelled?
About to cry.... Today I opened gckey.. And...

AIP!!!! my journey is about to end... Thank you all so so much!!

I am in the same situation as you regarding the BGC fingerprints. Mine is still saying "your action is required" and yesterday was the cut off.
As much as it's panicking me that they may have not recieved them I keep reminding myself that medical was exactly the same and that eventually changed a few days later.
I think maybe the officer waits until after its due date before checking if it has been recieved and updating.

I am Jan 29th Applicant

AOR received: 29th Jan
OWP received: 25th March
Medical passed: 10 April
Fingerprint required for RCMP: 4th June
Fingerprint submitted: 23 June

CIC Sign-In Partner: Under review of additional document it says: We have received the additional documents you provided.

Its the fingerprints RCMP which I have provided.

However, the below is still under process;
Review of Eligibility: is in progress, we will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility
Interview: You do not need an interview, We will send you a message if this changes
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. we will send you a message if this changes
Background check: we are processing your background check, we will send you a message if we need more info
Final decision: your application is in progress. we will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Any idea how long will this take?

Mine says the same under current status, we have submitted the RCMP document (Fingerprint) and they have received the documents too.

Good Morning,

I had my landing interview yesterday in Edmonton and it was pretty straight forward.

We arrived at 12:20, my interview was scheduled for 1 PM.
As we arrived over the lunch hour, the office was closed and there was a line. Once the door opened we were each given a queue number, we received number 11 as there were a number of other people waiting in front of us. Even though there were 10 ahead of us we only waited until about 1.40 and our number was called.

We approached the counter and were asked for the requested documentation per the landing interview letter. The agent took our Visitor Record and state that they were going to keep it as our status is about to change to Permanent Residency and we would no longer need the Visitor Record.
After a bit of back and forth conversation the agent asked:

Have you convicted any criminal?
Have you been deported in any country?
Do you have any other dependent?

The agent helping us said congratulations you are now a permanent resident of Canada and proceeded to explain how to get a new SIN, drivers licensee and health care information.

We also received our Open Work Permit in the mail this morning which is now void due to the PR. We didn't have the OWP at the time of our interview and the agent said it was fine, but that once we receive it, we should shred it as our status has changed and it would no longer be valid.

Good luck to everyone on this forum and thank you!
This forum has been very helpful for us!

My account says Your action is required since May. I think it's nothing to worry about, they probably just didn't update it
