Hi Friends,

I am eager to know about the pros and cons of Inland and/or Outland spousal sponsorship. Which one usually takes less time? I have a visitor visa and have already visited Canada number of times but don't have a Work Permit.
If I plan to get married in Canada. What do you think would be the best sponsorship process? Many Thanks

Outland is typically faster. It also gives you the option of appeal.
Inland allows you to get an open work permit. You are also not supposed to leave the country on an inland application.

Having just been through the Outland process (whislt actually being in Canada) I would recommend doing Inland. With Outland you would have no interim rights, whereas Inland will enable you to apply for an open work permit while you wait, meaning it doesn't really matter if your application takes a little longer to complete.
