Hi guys,

Yesterday CIC asked for more relationship proof , I have lots to send . They state in the letter to send them through Case Specific Enquiry, but I want to send few documents , bills, and photos, so I can just send them by a courier to CPC-Mississauga rather than CSE?

MyCic change to DM this morning!!!

Congratulations Detoye!! You must be so happy. Landing Interview next.

Checked MyCic this morning and it says Decision Made under Permanent Residence Application Status. I literally almost choked on my tea!

We originally applied in April of 2015, it was sent back to us because it was missing a "dependent". We sent it back and it was finally received August 2015 and began processing November 2015.
We had some delays... had to try to have a non-accompaning dependent medically examined but ex-partner wouldn't allow it so we had to go through lawyers and send in declarations and proof. We also had a further background check requested for those who worked in law enforcement or in the military/government. The FBI fingerprint check wasn't completed properly the first time so it took 6 months to get that all done.

But today, seeing that "Decision Made" update was so worth it!

I'm sure it's been asked a million times before but is there an average wait time to find out what the "decision" is? and will it just go to the applicant?

I'm sure it's be

Hi browning911,

Thank you! We applied inland. What is the SIR program?

My letter started like this....

"We are pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residency will be finalized at your next interview that has been scheduled for:

Date, time

Blabla...

Please bring the following documents with you:
Passport
2 pictures
...

SIR was a IRCC initiative to reduce the time for straight forward inland spousal application. It is not longer in effect.
