How long is it normally before they send an invitation for the landing interview. Now I'm a bit anxious about it potentially getting lost in my spam folder.

If you check the facebook page you'll find that Montreal applicants are landing in roughly 6-8 weeks.

On monday I ordered my GCMS notes.
Today I get an email from CIC. It was a 2nd AOR, worded exactly the same as the first one, but addressed to me and included my UCI number.
Still no access to ecas, but at least I know now they have the right email address for me.

Tonight was a big surprise. Received SA and DM after less than 11 months. Not sure what's going on at CIC.

Do you know when your note #2 appeared in your ECAS?
The one regarding your AOR.

Strangely, today (and I know it was today, because I check ECAS twice a day) I suddenly have that second line showing my AOR date, and the line "We began processing your application" was pushed to line 3.

Has anyone else seen an AOR note show up in ECAS?

I checked on ECAS and have Decision Made Status , It seemed like it was updated today..

1.We received your application for permanent residence on March 4, 2014.
2.We sent you correspondence on June 23, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
3.We sent you medical instructions on June 23, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4.Medical results have been received.

Yesterday it was just showing the below information which means ECAS is definitely not updated every step of the way..

1.We received your application for permanent residence on March 4, 2014.

about a month and a week 37-39 days, and will inform you 10 days before the appointement

1st AOR: January 25, 2015 (by mail, addressed to my husband)
2nd AOR: September 16, 2015 (by email, addressed to me)

Says "Begun processing application September 15." But I know I probably still have months before any sort of decision or even contact is made.

It's definitely approved.

You're an October 10 applicant, if there were any issues with your application you likely wouldn't be processed so quickly.

I'm not getting my hopes up on it getting processed early. I'd rather get a nice surprise, versus getting my hopes up.

I'm an October 21, 2014 applicant. I do really hope it is approved. Some member here got a decision made and received an email about the interview which i don't have.

If there's no reason for you to be decided against they won't do so just for fun.

Thanks for clarifying your dates, so they're definitely working on the end of October. What is even more odd is that you got your AOR just this month.
