Hi everyone just an update.
We got actual real info from the call centre. Even a temporary file number!!!!

Short story: sent inland app on nov 15
Got it back because of a document
Sent all back in march 15
Then nothing for 4 months

Ok....then my husband who is completely frustrated about not being able to work decided to phone the call centre yet again

We were super worried about getting everything back and really now kinda just want to know wether they received it and will not be returning it

So on the call with the call agent my husband explained what happened and that we understand it will be about two years (agent seemed to like we were realistic) so she asked if we could be on hold

We were on he about 5 min
Then....
She says yes we have received it as of march 18 it was checked and it's all good

WHAT!!!!??????

We asked, lol the lady probably thought we were idiots, about six times So we won't get it back???

She said again and again No, if something was wrong you would have gotten it already

Then we asked about AOR

She said we won't get one until somebody is assigned to our file and that right now it's in a temporary file (meaning a pile of thousands of applications waiting to be processed)

And that our application is not yet attached to either of our UCI's
But that she could give us a temporary file number for when we call in the future!!!

Needless to say we are so relieved that at least now we are actually waiting bit just sitting around waiting for a big pile to come in the mail with our application back

Anyways, hope we all get news soon...we sure could use my husband working...

Cheers!

Congratulations.

In fact i called CIC couple of days ago and got the answer- they cant see anything in their system. My application was received on March 12.

Hi everyone, I've a quick question. Do we need English language proficiency test results (IELTS or CELPIP) for Family class sponsorship.
I'm sponsoring my spouse on inland filing. Any inputs will be of great help.
Also, from your experience please share any important information that you think may cause delays if taken lightly.
Thanks

Its s frustrating sometimes you will get an agent that actually cares and sometimes just these people that only want t get their pay and do nothing....
Sorry

Can anyone please tell me if Details of Foreign Travel form also called Supplementary Information form is required with the Inland app?
though the Document checklist IMM 5443 doesn't say to fill out one.
Did CIC asked anyone to fill it out after submitting the app.? Can anyone please help.
Thank you

Something seriously has to be done about these processing times...

have you received your AOR yet?

No nothing, technically my application was sent back to me in March so I'm guessing it restarted my queue again.

Received GCMS notes today

Notes 6
Text: Sponsor Residency declaration : Canadian Citizen living exclusively outside Canada

*we live in Canada and applied inland, should I call CIC or send correction?

I would call yes.

shot myself in the foot, have my whole application return to me today because I missed one form. so that's 3 months wait down the drain

I'm so sorry:( It's a same that they can't give a notice earlier.

And it means, that they're actually opening files from May, just don't send AORs anymore.

we missed the additional family form. so that set me back a whole 3 months of this long process of waiting on CIC.
