I received AOR today (well, my spouse did. I'm the sponsor). Please update the spreadsheet!

As a note: I did not include my marriage certificate, only the marriage license along with a note stuck to it saying I'll send along the certificate when I get it. Since I now have AOR, it can be concluded they are fine with people doing this.

I sent my application and received to cpc-v on 31 December according to my courier. Still hear nothing for AOR yet =(

Did you receive the letter in mail or email ?

Hello everyone.
I will submit my inland application for PR in late February after my wife give birth to our first kid.
Are there any other application will be submitted at same time or near by?
I hope you guys dont mind me joining to you.
Good luck for all of us :)

Welcome on here! There will definitely be more people joining in February and beyond as well :)

Do you have a UCI number? If so you can check it online on ECAS.
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

otherwise I'd call them again and ask them about the AOR. It can take time to get AOR.

It usually takes a month and so.. You shouldn't worry too much.. if you check the spread sheet 2014 which you can see at the bottom of my post, normally it takes 37-38 days to get AOR..

If you have a visitor record on hand, an UCI is listed on the paper. Only the sponsor will get an UCI at AOR stage. If you still don't know your UCI, you may have to wait until you get AIP when an UCI is assigned to you.

My application was received end of February 2013 . I called CIC for information two days ago. The first person told me that I need security clearance but did not say which country - led me believe Canada security clearance since I am here 1-2013 . I attached US state police record with application (my stupid mistake) called again , the second person told me I should receive a e mail for that but unfortunately it went to junk mail and I accidentally let it went trash . I called again today . The person told me that my first step had completed, now it needs FBI certificate . I requested official request letter from them because until now the information I got was from CIC call center . Does anyone know how CIC communicate ? I assume I should receive some official document .
I was also told the second step process take 8 month and land interview at Vancouver . Is there anyway to know if the process including time to get FBI certificate - which is another two month from FBI . How can I find out if second step had progressed to Vancouver office ? I am so worried not able to make my son's wedding on October . By the way, CIC calling center people are very nice compare with FBI customer service .

Thank you for the information. I called CIC this morning, the person gave me my UIC as I was told I have AIP - nothing official , only from telephone inquiring . Still waiting for official information from CIC .

Hi Big Screech,

The sponsor and the applicant get UCI numbers when they get AOR!

Cheers,

I added you to the spreadsheet, hope you don't mind. I'm sure you must receive your AOR in a few days, fingers crossed!

Are you sure? Unless CIC changed the wording of AOR email since I gotten my AOR. I still have a copy of my AOR here and there is no mention or listing of UIC assigned to my wife. Only UIC assigned to me as a sponsor.
