So I'm assuming that all inland applications are now to be sent to Ontario instead?

Yes it seems that way.

So, Outland applications are still sent to CPC-M. Just P.O.Box Number and postal code are different.

Yeah, they updated the information on the CIC website on 15 Jan (regarding the new mailing address for Inland applications) and then again on 21 Jan regarding the OWP change.

Could you please send me the link about the change regarding the OWP? Thanks

yah, I'd love a link too because I can't find anything.

I'm also going to call on Monday, maybe a few times to see what different agents say. Sometimes they don't know what they're talking about but I figure if I get more than one opinion I might be able to draw a conclusion or maybe they'll send me an email with info.

Not a CIC link, just a story from someone that called and was told (by more than one person) that OWP rules have changed.

Who knows?!?!?!

Apparently, the reason it worked with CPC-V is that they accepted temporary applications. CPC-M does not. This just adds an additional 1-4 months overhead to those filing their applications after January 19, 2014.

Wow. That sucks! Hopefully it's not too confusing and things will smoothen out soon enough!

Hello ,
After having submitted an application for sponsorship to Vegreville .
I would like to know more about the medical exams , so
-When can we do the medical exams ?
-Should I wait for instructions from CIC before doing the medical exams ?
Thank you for your suggestions .

Cordially .

It can make processing time faster if you are doing it upfront, but there is a chance that it will fall into disuse by the time they need it and you will be asked to do it again. So, it's up to you...

My only advise is that make a few phone calls before you choose the doctor, I got very variable prices for the same exams.

I received AOR today (well, my spouse did. I'm the sponsor). Please update the spreadsheet!

As a note: I did not include my marriage certificate, only the marriage license along with a note stuck to it saying I'll send along the certificate when I get it. Since I now have AOR, it can be concluded they are fine with people doing this.

Yes it appears they are greatly speeding up, which is a great thing. Processing is probably into April by now as well! Good news for everyone.
