Hi,

I am waiting to hear from Etobicoke office. I just have a question for you, in their letter did they tell you what documents to bring to the interview? Because in my DM letter they just said to bring my passport.
Yes, they do say what to bring. In my letter it was mentioned to bring my passport, a picture id for sponsor (drivers licence was ok), two pictures and a receipt of payment of RPRF.Also I would advice to bring your old sin, they will issue you a permanent one right after your landing, just in a different window.

After 4 weeks, I finally got my Landing Letter in Etobicoke. :D

Can anyone confirm that the Right of Permanent Residence can be paid on the spot?

Thank you!
Yes, you can pay it on the spot. The only thing is they don't accept cash, cheques or money orders, only cards (not prepaid ones). But this is specifically for Etobicoke. not sure for other offices.

What does a DM email say. I received an email saying my sponsor meets eligibility criteria but on the online application portal it says: We sent you correspondence on February 23, 2016 about the decision on your application.

Hi all,

For those spouses living with their sponsor in ALBERTA, you might be interested to know that I got my Alberta Health Care Card yesterday... It took 2 weeks after paperwork for it was submitted, I'm on a visitor permit but almost any other status will suffice if you say your intention is to stay in Canada for at least a year. Anyway it was really easy for my wife to add me to her AHCIP. If anyone is interested just email me for the link, The site says I'n not allowed to post links.

my email address is wh.p@gmx.com

choose the >>> Add: update and/or add a family member PDF icon AHC2212 <<< form

be safe!

Hey guys

I sent two outdated forms Gen 0008 and 5710e (Change conditions) outdated with my application on 27 Nov 2015 (Inland). So far I haven't heard anything from CIC.Now I am sending a 5476 form (Rep) which is basiclly me so I can access the file of my wife on her behalf. I called cic and they said you can send that document to the same CIC mississauga address or do it online as this is faster. I am thinking to send these outdated forms along with it. I can write at the envelope "Additional ENclosed info" with the file no., old trackimg no, client id everything.

FYI, the new and old forms has no difference between them. I believe it is just the database saving change but if I compare everything is same. My file was received on 27 N0v 2015 and the new forms were updated sometime in NOV 2015 and the for 5710E form was updated in Oct 2015.

What do you guys think?

Thanks J

Besides sending them via snail mail, why don't you include this online as well, via the case specific enquiry: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
That's what we did when we realized we've made a mistake on the docs checklist. \
Good luck :)

Thanks for your quick reply. I will mail and upload them online too. I hope they understands mistakes instead of being mean and send app back.
