I know this has been asked before, but has anyone who applied for an OWP *after* the pilot program was announced received an OWP or any indication that their application was received?

I'm just curious as to how this process is supposed to pan out.

Many applicant on the FB group reported that according to the Always-Reliable-Call-Centre their OWP application is "in process", I think one of them was even "approved" but no one received it yet.

Is any December 2013-January 2014 send some documents without any request? What will you suggest guys? We are planning to send proof of cohabitation plus my additional family information as we haven't send the proof of my sons birth here in Canada as per call centre agent said no need to update! (Darn!!)

. I have sent the OWP end of January along with additional requested documents on my PR. Haven't heard a thing. Deadline to have the documents sent is 24/03/2015. They might have not even opened my lettermail yet to recognize the APP for OWP. Will let you guys know.

No i was eleigible for it but didn't bother to apply for it.

Thank you! Sent out my application before my work permit expires but it came back, I called last month CIC guy said, I am out of status. But it is okay, just have to wait a little bit.

I was wondering if it was suspicious to have all the letters from family and friends be typed and then personally sign or its best to have it hand written?

My wife just received her open work permit, however the date of issue and expire is the exact same date. Which means it's not valid. Any suggestions?

You can type all the letters and have each person sign in. Also, it wouldn't hurt to have each person who writes you a letter attach a copy of their driver's licence or any other document so that they don't hav any doubt that they are real people.

has anybody received their OWP under the pilot project yet? Mine was sent in late January, I know it's not 4 months yet but I just looking for an update from anyone
