Even though you have not yet received your AOR, your `lock-in' date (AOR), will in fact be Dec 22, 2014. You will NOT need to pay anything more for the OWP...as long as CIC doesn't screw things up! LOL!

I need help in filling 5710 form SOWP

I am bit confuse what to answer in the below question

1) been refused any kind of visa, admission or been ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
I applied for PR under CEC last year and and my application got rejected. So what should i answer to above question ?

I was able to log in to ECAS this morning and saw my application was received.

Sponsor received AOR yesterday. May 2014 applicant. Applicant received AOR back in August 2014. Still unable to see anything on eCAS.

I know someone that works there. Apparently they only do 4 month contracts and rarely hire full timers.

Powerful Union makes sure the slow and lazy full timers are comfortable

This is completely ridiculous. If they're given "3 days" of training, and if doing 4 month contracts is even remotely feasible they should scrap the entire union and start from scratch.

If the day after I submitted my application they scrapped their union, hired a reasonably sized workforce, trained everyone for 3 days, got acclimated to the job for a few months, then processed applications I'd expect they'd be getting somewhere.

Instead, most people here have been happily waiting while their application gets moved around in a stack while 4 to 6 sets of temps shuffle in and out.

Last update was made on Feb 4, but you can still see that many applicant got their OWP who sent their application before 2014 October.

We applied in Feb 2014 for our OWP, and haven't gotten anything yet :'(

is the AOR starts with xf-xxxxxxxxx? i just want to make sure if this is the AOR. I talked to an agent this morning and told me that my application was received by CIC already and gave me that xf-xxxxxxxxx. I'm October 2014 inland applicant.

sponsors ecas mine. But we submitted just last may 2014. So now im confused. Not that i dont what it but is it too early?
