This is completely ridiculous. If they're given "3 days" of training, and if doing 4 month contracts is even remotely feasible they should scrap the entire union and start from scratch.
If the day after I submitted my application they scrapped their union, hired a reasonably sized workforce, trained everyone for 3 days, got acclimated to the job for a few months, then processed applications I'd expect they'd be getting somewhere.
Instead, most people here have been happily waiting while their application gets moved around in a stack while 4 to 6 sets of temps shuffle in and out.
