Hello...again,

Maybe she should simply renounce her PR and start over with her employer sponsoring her. Here's a link that describes how to do it:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5781ETOC.asp

She should enjoy reading this part:

Can I stay in or return to Canada after renouncing my permanent resident status?

If you live in Canada, you will automatically become a temporary resident after renouncing your permanent resident status. You do not need to make a separate application for temporary residence. Your temporary resident status will be valid for six months. To remain in Canada longer, you will have to apply to extend your stay as a visitor before it expires. You will no longer be allowed to work or study without authorization from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

The best part, is that it doesn't cost her a dime to do this and, IMHO, is the best way to simply let you off the hook, financially.

Thanks for always saving us! I'm going to PM you if thats okay?!

would you guys just stop talking about this, there is no point of reiterating the same thing again. what you are doing can also be taken as spam, since it's redundant and uncalled for. no one here is supposed to be policing the threads. and it shouldn't matter if someone is highly rated or not. This is turning almost to bullying so please quit it.

Very well said! Fy2013

September 27, 2013 applicant here.
I got 'Decision Made' in my eCAS after submitting my e-medical only a week ago.

Oh...and I also paid the Right of PR fee a few days ago (online)
Hope this gives a few more people hope.

FINALLY!!! Got the landing interview e-mail!!!! :D :o :D :o
Can't express we are finally at the end of this long tunnel.

I know this has been asked and answered many times, but can someone please tell me what my wife and I need to bring to this interview?
I know what they will ask, so I just need to know what documents we need. For example, do we need to bring marriage certificate? We submitted the original copy last time and didn't keep a photocopy...

Many thanks in advance!!!

Your passport, your wifes ID, your photos for PR card and yourself ... Oh you can bring any visas/work permits that you have still, they may or may not ask to see them.

Congratulations JhonyP.
Good luck to your landing interview.

Thank you very much. There was actually a 2nd and 3rd pages in the letter about the documents. I was just too excited to see the first page. :P :P

Thank you very much.

I have a dependent in my home country and was requested medicals and additional info.
- The form IMM 5604 (declaration from non- accompanying parent / Guardian) needs to be signed and Notarized, however I have no contact and was not married to her biological father since she was one year old. She is 17 now.
Question: Would my parents suffice signing it since they are the Grand parents and guardian since I left?

Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Would any of you guys recommend applying for GCMS notes right after you get AIP? We were asked to send in one document which we're currently getting ready, but I don't know if the VO would continue to look at the other aspects of our file in the meantime?

I'm having a hard time applying for them as I don't have a scanner/printer/faxer or anything so I would rather not if it's a waste of time at this point. Lol!

Hi Guys,

I got my medical request today from CIC and my spouse received an email saying he met all the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

I am going to do my medical tomorrow.

Any idea what will be the next step? and how much more time it should take?

Thanks,

DM!!!! October 22, 2013 applicant! I'm so excited!!

I got an email last week asking to redo my medical. Then today got my DM letter with a message on top saying to disregard the request for medical.

Unfortunately I already got it all done and paid over $300, but I don't even care right now! Just relieved to finally get it. :D

I'm the 3rd applicant I've heard in the past week this happening to with the medical request, then disregard so I don't know if it will continue or not.

Will let you guys know when my landing interview is. YAY!
