Ponga said:Hello...again,
Maybe she should simply renounce her PR and start over with her employer sponsoring her. Here's a link that describes how to do it:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5781ETOC.asp
She should enjoy reading this part:
Can I stay in or return to Canada after renouncing my permanent resident status?
If you live in Canada, you will automatically become a temporary resident after renouncing your permanent resident status. You do not need to make a separate application for temporary residence. Your temporary resident status will be valid for six months. To remain in Canada longer, you will have to apply to extend your stay as a visitor before it expires. You will no longer be allowed to work or study without authorization from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
The best part, is that it doesn't cost her a dime to do this and, IMHO, is the best way to simply let you off the hook, financially.
Very well said! This is turning almost to bullying so please quit it.
Your passport, your wifes ID, your photos for PR card and yourself ... Oh you can bring any visas/work permits that you have still, they may or may not ask to see them.JohnnyP said:FINALLY!!! Got the landing interview e-mail!!!!
Can't express we are finally at the end of this long tunnel.
I know this has been asked and answered many times, but can someone please tell me what my wife and I need to bring to this interview?
I know what they will ask, so I just need to know what documents we need. For example, do we need to bring marriage certificate? We submitted the original copy last time and didn't keep a photocopy...
Many thanks in advance!!!
Thank you very much. There was actually a 2nd and 3rd pages in the letter about the documents. I was just too excited to see the first page.Alurra71 said:Your passport, your wifes ID, your photos for PR card and yourself ... CONGRATULATIONS!! I hope to hear the same anytime soon! I can only imagine what it might feel like to finally know this is all over...jmarie88 said:DM!!!! October 22, 2013 applicant! I'm so excited!!
I got an email last week asking to redo my medical. Then today got my DM letter with a message on top saying to disregard the request for medical.
Unfortunately I already got it all done and paid over $300, but I don't even care right now! Just relieved to finally get it.
I'm the 3rd applicant I've heard in the past week this happening to with the medical request, then disregard so I don't know if it will continue or not.
Will let you guys know when my landing interview is. YAY!
Thanks! And feels great Percy Weasley. I'm thinking you'll get DM really soon too. Especially because you had the same thing happen to youPercy Weasley said:CONGRATULATIONS!! I hope to hear the same anytime soon! I can only imagine what it might feel like to finally know this is all over...
