Oh my goodness!!!! I'm a December 9th applicant. Other December applicants are getting SA!! WAAAAAT. I was totally not expecting to here anything for another couple months!

Wow!

But yeah, what happened to November?? ???

Doesn't make sense. Maybe they gave November cases to some people and December to other people and the December people are faster? (Officers, I mean)...

I don't really know how the process works once it's out of our hands but that just seems so odd!!

But still fabulous news. :)

Hi! Has anyone that landed in February received their Pr card? I landed in Etobicoke office and was wondering timelines for card... It's been almost 6 weeks ! Thanks everyone and congrats to all those landing and getting aips etc.

Oct 15 applicant here, I just got off the phone with CIC (I called the second they opened!). Basically, he said my application was being processed, that the medicals were good, and that they were working on the background check now. He said it would be, "a matter of weeks" and I would be receiving my AIP, that things were going well with the application.

Just wanted to let others know that are still waiting like me. Good luck!

And congratulations to those who are nearing the end of this crazy journey!!

Yes, as long as the doctor is an approved CIC Panel Physician.

Hello fellow inlanders,

I'm a November 22nd applicant and just wanted to confirm one thing about the medical exam. We didn't submit a medical with the application originally and would like to get it done before CIC requests it in hopes of moving the DM through faster. Has anyone done this before? Is there a number CIC needs in order to submit it electronically so that it links to our application? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

We just had our emedical done and were given a report with a UMI number and barcode that we mailed to Misssassauga. Apparently this is so CIC can link your Emedical to your file. I hope this helps.
