Haha bummer for me! Feb 13/14... 150 years still away... It'd still be great for u to go sit on a beach somewhere and celebrate this process being done!!

Hey inlanders,

You're not that far out...I have a feeling that they're going to be under a lot of pressure to power through 2013 really quick.. someone from Sept 30th got AIP so lets say it takes 2 months to get AIP stage processign done for 2013... then, if you assume they process a months worth of apps in a month then you're looking at another 1.5 months until they get to you.
...sooo maybe you'll hear something in 4 months?? not to bad...

do you / did you qualify for the OWP under the pilot program?

and yes... we have 3 vacations planned this year already. Tokyo for two weeks in June. Cancun for a week in September and Vegas for 4 days in November ^.^
No vacays for almost 2 years..so we have to make up for lost time haha

Got my landing letter interview on march 17, 2015 (Montreal) They didn't ask to fill up any form. Update with what they're usually asking for the interview: passport, CSQ, 2 photographs, proof of PR fee payment. For the PR card they state "Please allow a 6-8 week delay after becoming a PR in order to receive your PR card"

Finally! thank God !!

According to the FB spreadsheet, it appears two people got full AIP yesterday that were Sept 30th applicants.

Hopefully they process October this month, if so, I will be one month closer... I'm desperate :(

I feel that I am still very far away from getting AIP... They're still in September and its taking at least 3 months to process an entire month. Meanwhile the OUTLAND takes just days.... Why such a big difference? Why are outland applicants more important than inland?

it's not that 1 is more important than another. it's that the process is different. stage 1 for outland is ONLY about sponsor eligibility. 2nd stage is where the relationship is evaluated and the applicant is approved. the 2nd stage certainly does NOT take just days. also, outland first stage has increased to about a 3 month wait.

inland processing is siginificantly different. the first stage evaluates much more than whether the sponsor is eligible.

Hello everyone! Sep 24 applicant here. :)

I was greeted this morning by two wonderful emails. One for my spouse approving him as sponsor:

"This refers to the Application to Sponsor a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner In Canada
Class you submitted to this office on behalf of xxxxxxxxxx.
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence
(APR) for your relative will be processed separately and he/she will be contacted shortly..."

One for me:

"This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-Law
Partner in Canada Class.
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as
a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class. Please note that a final decision
will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met...

In order to continue processing your application, further information is required. You must complete/submit the following to this office:

> Medical..."

Is this full AIP even if I need to redo my medical exam? They said that my previous medical exam has expired.

Yep, full AIP congrats!! The medical is part of the DM process. When did you take your medical exam? Curious to see how long they're extending the expiry date..
