Thank you! We usually get contacted via email, which is then followed by snail mail about week afterwards. But this time regarding this information, we didn't get any emails nor was it updated on the ecas. Looks like it will be by snail mail only. They're not very good about updating online. I changed my mailing address with them a year ago but online it's still the old address. But I have confirmed with them multiple times on the phone that they have my current address.

CONGRATZ!!!!!!

we're both Sept 18th applicants... my partner is busy and cant call in, i wonder if i call in for her ,can they tell me if she got DM??

You said they didnt email you...so maybe thats the same for us and we have DM now and they'll mail us a letter...

anyways..congratz again!!! what office will contact u?

Hope everyone else hears news soon!

IS there any negotiation field, when it comes to your landing date? For example, my common law and I are getting married next April (destination wedding) and what if my landing date will be set during our trip? Out of curiosity.

Someone from the forum (sorry, can't recall the name) successfully delayed their landing, but that means that they delayed it by months.

Whoa, that would suck. Let's hope it won't come to that.

September 20th 2013 applicant here! Just got AIP AND DM.
Had to send extra documents to them twice... but we can see at the end of the tunnel! I have a huge smile one! I can't believe it! :D

One question though. We just paid Right of Permanent Residence Fee. On the receipt, it says my husband name. As for Client ID and Birth date, do I need to put my ID and birth date? It's confusing. Please help!

Holy Crap! Thank you SO much for your post. I'm married to a canadian, waiting for my PR, and going to Georgian College. I didn't realize the spousal exemption until I read your post. I used the information you gave me to show the Registrar's Office that I qualified for domestic tuition, and after a review they agreed. I am getting $5000 back on this semester and saving around $20,000 total. Thank you again.

btw, this rule also applies to colleges in Ontario.

Wow congratulatoin Daizey, your journey is almost done. Great that you didn't need to fill up the pre-landing form. I might call CIC Montreal on Monday if tomorrow I will not receive anything. Good luck for you :)
