That's aweful! CIC is so inconsistent with everything...they are asking some to redo medicals and are extending others. I'm a July 29th applicant and we did our medical in July 2013 which are very expired now. The point of upfront was the hope that we would receive AIP and DM at the same time...regretting even doing anything upfront because now I feel like our application is deep down in a pile sitting and I fear they will do the same thing they did to u. soo over this process.
on the bright side..maybe once you send the medical you will receive DM shortly afterward as your file will be "relevant" again...ugh!


Yes there is no benefit of upfront medical ....just wasted time n money....tired of this lengthy inland applicants processing time...they must improve it....

Guys. Hope the week brings a lot of AIPs, DMs and OWPs.

Question for the forum,appreciate if anyone can provide any insight!

1) We paid out RPRF on the day we got the AIP(10 Dec), however we did not mail it in to CIC until last week (23 Jan). Will this delay the processing of the DM?
2) Also does anyone know how much time CIC takes to update their system that RPRF has been paid, once they receive the details in the mail?

I am a Nov 27 2013 applicant. I have not sent my open work permit application along with my Inland application.
If i want to apply for an open work permit in the new pilot program i need to follow certain steps.


What i don`t understand is that if i sent IMM570E form to CPC Vegreville Do I need to send the open work permit application with this form to the same address ?

Can anyonce would make it clear for me Thanks,

Congrats RRSweet .

Im finally an PR . We landed on friday. It took about 1 hour. They called each couple one by one asked the same general questions, asked u to wait to give the pics and then asked everyone yo wait for a general anouncment (basically told us about pr travel, when the card will arrive). Very smooth process and all the agents were all very friendly. Our joutney is now over. Best of luck to everyone whp is waiting and thank you to everyone in the forum for all the precious information and help
