looks like CPC-M have just one or two agents working on all the inland sponsorship application. minimal progress in 4 months, next to no AIPS and AORs lack of proper communication channels to applicants. So far, moving the apps to CPC-M doesnt make any sense especially when CPC-V
was doing soo good before the transfer

Totally agree with you...
I am about to go crazy... running out of my patient!!!

We'll after waiting officially 2 months for my landing interview I called cic turns out my application is not back in process :-\which is what one agent told me they just sent etobicoke a reminder to send me my letter. I plan on calling tomorrow just to make sure everything is ok with my file then once a week after that to "remind" etobicoke I still exist! :)
minime# I am also waiting for my landing letter from etobicoke maybe we might get the same date hang in there.

I wish everyone waiting pass 6 months for AIP would have a special case processing,
no one should wait that long to have some basic benefits.
And it doesn't seem they are worried about rushing the applications, they taking all their time to process those 1st stage.
It drives me crazy every time I come here during the week and nobody had AIP issued.
One AIP per week is gonna take way too long.

CIC has replied to Toronto Star this morning so the story will be filed with CIC feedbacks . Reporter is preparing it.

It would definitely be an interesting read. I wouldn't past the Toronto Star to be un-bias in their articles. The Toronto Star is known trying to make mountains out of molehill. What newspaper doesn't. They got to sell to make money.

To be honest, I will read the article with a grain of salt as it will be printed from a "political left point of view". After all Toronto Star will print any articles that would make the current PC government look bad. Until the CIC immigration issues over PR sponsorship are also covered in other newspapers, provide opposing views, it will be hard to convince me there is a problem if only one viewpoint is only offered.

Has anyone have a link to this article ? Has it been posted yet ?

Hi guys I have a few questions.

I was wondering how soon does the Ecas update after AIP or DM? Since the email address on my application was of our representative we won't get updates anytime soon (they take a week or so before they get back to us) we're counting on that and we're next in line :(

Also is there anyway to change the email address sucessfully? I mean they tend to keep sending stuff to the previous addresses so it wouldn't be worth changing at this moment being this close to the processing. Does anybody have experience with this?

I got my sponsership approval today. No AIP though.

Should get rest of the stuff soon too! Congrats!

If I may ask, when did you apply and when did you get your AOR?
