Can any one comment on my status
I am putting the inland application for the spouse. Please advice me about the supporting documents i need for application.
My concern is how i fill out OWP application because it need employment ID and No. et etc in application. Some just to leave it vacant
Secondally what are the supporting documents people will add to show genuine relationship.
Currently i have joint bank account, lease agreement, letter from doctor for pregnancy, how much financial bank statement i
required, as i am currently student.I have snap for weeding and some trip picture to Toronto, Please let me know any thing that support my application to show its genuineness.
Any suggestion highly appreciated

Hi Canuck, first off congrats on becoming a PR! I'm choosing to wait because the website and letter clearly stated that PCC is needed if I've resided in countries since 18 for 6 months or more. I actually scanned my old passport pages and scanned the stamp of the date I entered canada in 2008. And also a copy of the study permit issued to me back in 2008. School started in sept and my birthday is in march. I *had* to be here before my 6 month mark, or I will miss part of the semester. I did sent all my proof to the officer and now waiting. My point is, they can't just change the rules. As a temporary resident for the past 6 yrs dealing with cic I've seen cic made mistakes over and over again. I mean They are only human.

Hi .... With all due respect, my only thought in your situation was that it might be best to cover all of your bases just in case. As I kicked myself for quite a while for not listening to my gut to go ahead and redo my medical in December (and then finding in January of this year... That it had to be redone which is what I sensed to begin with ) And wasn't complete until MARCH BECAUSE OF SCREW UPS. Just didn't want your application delayed ....

Good morning everyone wishing you all a very blessed week and that you all see movement on your applications. ;D

Hi All,

I LANDED TODAY IN VANCOUVER!!!!! :) It was a pretty easy process, however the wait was long and there was no air conditioning, so very hot. Once they called my name, they asked me those 3 standard questions and I signed some papers and that was it!!!

If you have any questions, let me know!! I will stick around the forum as well!!!

All the best,

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks minime! Same to you. :)

For those wondering, they updated the website this morning, no change. Maybe why they didn't bother changing it sooner. At least they haven't bumped it up to 11 months, but I'm guessing they will by next week, that's when ours will have been at 10 months. They always bump it up a month right when we get to that timeframe for our application, lol.

Hi Canuck, I understand wher you're coming from. My parents are extremely busy so I don't see this happening in another 2 weeks anyways and by that time I might *keyword might.. hear back from cic in regards to the letter I sent. (Wishful thinking) PCC takes a while to get too, so that in itself is a delay. it's pretty much written officially that meds expire after 1 year, with the possibility of renewal. However, i know for sure I don't need a PCC as stated in the official website AND the letter written to me AND as told by cic agent (twice). I will obtain my PCC but just hoping the officer will see the exemption.

I think it will be 11 months next week too. Unless a miracle happened and they suddenly work the normal pace. So 11 months, we went back to post strike timeline. Great. This must be the worst year to apply for PR. Although historically I don't know how it was like.

we are getting so angry! online, it still says:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 13, 2013.

We started processing your application on January 9, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

i mailed in my US police certificate about 2/3 months ago....i called about 2 months ago and was told that the canadian police check was in progress...it is now june and i still have heard nothing from these people...nothing!

Guys we got AIP more than an hour ago!!

Email says

Dear bruneian's husband,
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner In Canada Class you submitted to this office on behalf of Bruneian.
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence (APR) for your relative will be processed separately and he/she will be contacted shortly

So, the website has not updated for a while now...it still says July 10th - and 10 months..

Are there any applicants here who are at that 10 month or 10 month and 1 or 2 week time?? can they call and get an update and share with us please
