Guys I just got an email from cic masking for police certificate, I asked the call center if I came here at 18 I don't need one! What do I do???

1st is congrats ur mp to push those CIC agent to work ...2. i think you have to call cic or write e-mail to tell them you came here were 18 or before 18.

heeeeeeeeeeeeey! i was working today 10am, i work in a day care so a lots of noise and i recevied a call from immigration was a woman, she just told mariana murrieta? yes hi is jane from immigration, just to let you know that you are landing on june 11, i didnt figure out the time but in the morning, i will send you a letter next week ok ? btw are you working at a day care?? i can hear all the kids and i say yes sorry for the noise ! and then she said, i have a question, do you have your passport with you now? i say yes, and i start to thank her and i told her that she make me very happy today, and she answer i bet i did!! then goodbye.

DM received: may 22 2014 and 6 days after this call with the landing date.

That's actually a very good point. My guess is that they're already looking at your information, and maybe when they have everything they need you'll be receiving AIP and DM all at once? That would be a nice surprise after all the waiting and headache.

Thanks Daizey, that would be nice after all the delays they put us through. I emailed them and will be snail mailing them as well. I kept counting my age when I arrived in canada like a million times I thought I made a mistake, even used an online calculator. I was born 1st week of march. Arrived 3rd week of August when I was 18. It makes me 18 yrs 5 months old right?? Tell me I'm not crazy! LOL.

Letter clearly state that if you've lived for 6 months or more continuously since 18. And I stated it on my checklist just in case they didn't do the math! Dude I'm stuck here since 18 because international fees are soooo expensive! Can't afford another 2 grand for flights home lol.

Getting won't be a problem but I don't want to make my poor parents drive all the way to the city. (They live in a small town far from the city) if I'm exempted I should be exempted!

Have any sponsor here ever received a call at work from cic before aip. my wife the sponsor got a call today at work but were not sure who called the only ones that have her work phone number is family and cic but family did not call, were confused though cause were august applicants

No. It's his cell phone. He's currently taking an apprenticeship training right now and wouldn't be at work so we don't know.

It's good news though, they are finally picking up the pace.

No....Actually The Guy They Assign For CIC Site Up-Date Duty He Sleeping On The Desk Front Of CIC Super Computer While Waiting For Up-Date Directions From Applications Checkers Because He Have No Idea What To Up-Date And What To Not..May Be He Just Got Tired Keep Up-Dating Same Date From Past 4 Months Same Like Us tired Watching Same Date ...Please Some One Ring Him And wake Him Up And Tell Him Its Friday Evening 5pm And Everyone Already Went Back Home ,Please Go Home Rest And Come Back Next Friday
