Nova Scotia represent! Hubby and I live in Halifax. :)

I'm always wondering a simple question:

Why in-land app takes 10 months while out-land only 44 days, for step 1, do we pay less tax than those not in Canada?

For some reason, they think it's okay to take more time with in-land applicants because they are already with their family/spouse. It makes no sense to me.

It makes no sense for me either, true we are together with our families, which is better than be apart, no doubts. BUT it makes it very hard to live without a job, documents, provincial health care, driver's license... and many other things we put on hold in order to the immigration process. 6 months for AIP I'd say it was a fair amount of time to process. 11 months absurd.

U haven't received your card yet!!! Omg that is ridiculous hope u get it very soon

It is so disasterous it is funny! The fact it has been so long since an AIP that everyone has given up predicting when the next AIP will happen.

Achankeng, my DH got a call from the MP office for more questioning. How bout you?

It's two different thing, for the out-lands, the relationship questions come later, so it's an easier, shorter procedure.
